Seize the Day Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients

1/4 c. rolled oats
1 banana
1/2 c. vegan milk of your choice (if unsweetened, add 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract)
1 T. creamy nut butter (I like cashew)
1 T. chia seeds
1 T. hemp seeds
1/2 T. pure maple syrup 
1/2 tsp. matcha powder (optional – be cautious if you have caffeine sensitivity)
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. fine sea salt 

Instructions

  • Put the oats in a blender and pulse until finely ground.

  • Add the other ingredients and blend until creamy.

  • If the smoothie is too thick, you can add more milk or water 1 T. at a time until you reach the desired consistency.

  • Enjoy!
